Cross Point Farm
Welcome to Cross Point Farm. The house was built in the 1887. It was a four bedroom farm house in Edgecomb Maine situated
on 3.6 acres of land. There are two old post and beam barns across the street which encompass 1.2 acres of the 3.6 acres. The
oldest of the two barns date back to 1890. The house was in dire need of as the Realtor called it "TLC". The first step was to jack
up the house and replace the old foundation. This started on October 10,2005. We hired Julien Castonguay Inc to do this work.
We then started to do as much of the rest of the project as possible by ourselves. The house took four years to complete As we
progressed on this project more pictures and descriptions were added. We still have a few odds and ends to finish. As well as the
barns to restore and will continue to update the website as we go. Thank you for sharing our passion of restoring old buildings. We
hope you enjoy the site and maybe even get inspired to start your own project. John & Patrice Carter
